FEROX LEGAL advised Frischezentrum Frankfurt am Main – Großmarkt GmbH on the purchase of the wholesale market area in Frankfurt/Kalbach from the City of Frankfurt am Main. The company is backed by more than 100 individual traders and trader companies which operate their business on the wholesale market area at Bad Homburg Kreuz in the form of the Frischezentrum.
Even after the sale of the land, the City of Frankfurt am Main still holds a stake of almost 25 percent in the operating company of the Frischezentrum via Hafen- und Marktbetriebe and also provides the chairman, Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann (SPD), as well as two other members of the supervisory board of the Frischezentrum.
The transaction was led by FEROX LEGAL-partner Thomas Hopf (Real Estate) and also included the partners Dr Dennis Geissler (Financing and Litigation), Jürgen Heilbock, LL.M. (Georgetown) (Corporate) (all Frankfurt) and as external advisor Dr. Madeleine Arens.
