Dr. Dennis Geissler

Dr. Dennis Geissler advises in particular in the area of complex disputes.

In doing so, he advises and represents national and international companies as well as individuals. His practice focuses on complex shareholder and liability disputes. In his advisory approach he is aiming to avoid litigation. Dr. Geissler is acting as a permanent litigator for various DAX and MDAX corporations and medium-sized companies as well as a permanent advisor to successful companies and family offices. Since 2017, he has been admitted as an arbitrator and attorney-at-law at the DIS German Institution of Arbitration. In addition, he is also a specialist lawyer for transport and forwarding law.

Through his constant publications, lectures and not least through his participation in international conferences, he is particularly well known in the field of litigation and dispute resolution. He is also interested in Franco-German relations and the development of family businesses.

Dr. Geissler studied law at the University of Passau. During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt, he wrote his doctoral thesis on the legality of party donations. Before becoming a founding partner of Ferox Legal, he worked for several years for leading commercial law firms in Munich and Frankfurt am Main. He is a lecturer at the UBIS University in Geneva and at the private university EC Europa Campus in Frankfurt.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr. Geissler holds various offices:

• Member of the cooperative representation of Frankfurter Volksbank eG.
• Chairman of the board of a major family foundation
• Member of the supervisory board of an automotive company
